Entering the home, we discover a bright and airy living room which has a soaring high ceiling. The relatively small footprint means the cabin is easy to heat while still benefiting from plenty of circulating fresh air.
The sitting room is anchored by a gorgeous old-world fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. The large windows allow plenty of natural light into the home, and provide constant views of the surrounding forest.
The kitchen is open to the living room and is finished with a charming rustic style, giving it the appearance of a classic country kitchen. The distressed cabinetry earths the room, while the modern appliances make it as functional as it is attractive.
Looking back into the great room, we notice the island has an oven. This is a great place to cook, where you are always a member of the party.
The main living room has direct access to the large deck.
The deep terrace overlooks gentle Sandy River and the abundant forest - perfect for relaxing afternoons surrounded by nature.
The garden is finished with a riverside hot tub and a firepit.
Back inside the house, we find two bedrooms which are attractively decorated in the rustic style. The master bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed and glass doors which lead to the deck.
The loft area is open to the main living room below, giving residents the benefit of the light and air. This open space has a second, less formal sitting room, which is perfect for family time.
Taking the ladder up to the next level, we find a cozy reading nook in the rafters.
The loft includes a third sleeping option, putting the total capacity of the cabin at eight adults.
The bathroom is finished in a bold, blue color which contrasts very nicely with the exposed wood and beams.
