This here is a real rustic retreat — made entirely of reclaimed materials. The sustainability design and construction firm Reclaimed Space builds all of its homes with the same intentions and beliefs: proper orientation, sustainably built using reclaimed and nontoxic materials, energy efficient and a transportable structure.
This is their first-ever model — a stunning representation of what can be done with materials otherwise discarded. In this home, Reclaimed Space has created a one-bedroom abode with a kitchen fit for a chef and a porch with a killer view. From inside or out, you'd never know these materials were recycled — only that the vibe of this house is truly unique.

Take the tour and fall in love with this reclaimed and recycled home.
Take a look at that big, beautiful and open kitchen. We love the old cabinets and how the doors have been replaced with glass for a vintage feel. They've also played on the vintage vibe with those metal stools and the mix of stone and butcher's block counters — a real eclectic space that looks truly unique and chic.
As you could see before, the kitchen opens right into the living room. This space is covered in beautifully worn reclaimed wood that really warms up this open living plan. We also can't get enough of that corrugated tin used for the ceiling.
The bedroom is as cozy as it gets for a log cabin. The mix of old, colored and stained woods gives an almost quilted finish to the walls.
Take a look at that incredible porch. This is the real show stopper of the home — and it's sure to be the best view in the house. Plus, because it opens up to the living room, you can easily enjoy the porch and view all year long — no matter the weather.
