Welcome to the "Tree House," a rustic log home which sits high among the treetops overlooking a glistening lake in rural Georgia. The Tree House was designed and constructed by Appalachian Log Homes and is a simple living space which is like no other we have explored. Shall we go up and take a look?

The Tree House is an impressive sight from afar. The leaves of the trees add natural privacy to the building. Standing tall on stilts, the Tree House's panoramic views are accentuated by the elevation.

We approach the home via a quirky wooden walkway.

This fairytale entrance is an enchanting way to arrive home. The use of wood throughout is the perfect natural decor which is in-keep with the rural setting.

The deck area covers two exposures of the house, with the rear portion enjoying an immense sense of tranquility.

The inside of the cabin is a simple, functional space which is designed to complement your outdoors lifestyle. The rugged bed is an inviting place to retire at the end of the day, while the free-standing clawfoot bathtub is a timeless addition.

Tree House has a beautiful stone fireplace which easily heats this quaint floor plan. After a long day trekking in the woods, there is nothing like relaxing in front of the fire - heaven!

While Tree House promotes outdoor living, there is a small dining set for those days where the weather forces you indoors.

Tree House has a simple bathroom with attractive white fittings which offset nicely against the distressed wood paneling.
